JLF goes beyond literature, hosting figures like Amartya Sen, Amitabh Bachchan, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Dalai Lama, Oprah Winfrey, Stephen Fry, Thomas Piketty, and former Afghan president Hamid Karzai.

Global Reach and Digital Expansion

JLF’s influence has extended globally with editions held in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, the Maldives, and Spain. Despite the challenges of 2020, the festival successfully launched the digital series JLF Brave New World and JLF Words Are Bright, reaching over 4.8 million viewers in their first season.
